Create a quote, have it digitally accepted by your client, and convert it to an invoice with a single click.
Go to Quotes and select 'New quote'.
Select the client and fill in the line items, just like with an invoice.
Set an expiry date. After this date, the quote will automatically expire.
Optionally add an explanation or terms and conditions below the line items.
Send the quote by email.
Your client will receive a link to view the quote online and can accept or reject it with a single click. The moment of acceptance is recorded, so you can later prove that an order was placed.
Once the status is 'Accepted', the button to convert the quote to an invoice will appear. All line items will be carried over; you don't need to re-type anything.
Draft: not yet sent, freely editable.
Sent: with the client, awaiting a response.
Accepted: ready to be converted to an invoice.
Rejected or Expired: kept for your own overview.
Can I invoice a quote in instalments?
Yes. Convert the quote to an invoice and adjust the line items or quantities for the first instalment. The quote remains as the source, so you can invoice the rest later.
